Home Collections David Evans Operating David Evans Operating This 2011 ink and watercolour image was produced for the front cover of the Association’s winter scientific meeting in brochure that year. It was subsequently used on the front cover of the 2016 booklet updating the history of the Association “From BAPS to BAPRAS”. In a scene instantly recognisable to all hand surgeons, it depicts well known plastic and hand surgeon Mr. David Evans, seated, and operating with the aid of his surgical telescopes, or Loupe magnifiers. The artist was a one-time trainee of Evans. Donald has provided cover illustrations for numerous BAPRAS and British Society for Surgery of the Hand publications.
