plastic surgery, more than most surgical specialties relies upon pictorial records of care. Photoghraphy is key to that.

From as early as WW1, when it became practical,  photography has been used to document methods of treatment, the progress of healing and to teach surgery.  The BAPRAS Collection contains several large and significant photgraphic collections.
