Harold, Gillies was not the only surgeon or clinician at Sidcup. 

He assembled arguably the first multidisciplinary, international team to develop the “strange new art” of plastic surgery and provide a different, holistic type aimed at reconstructing and rehabilitating the servicemen with facial injuries.
