In this Gallery you can find a selection of works produced by BAPRAS members. Plastic Surgeons tend to possess an eye and talent for artistic endeavour. Sir Harold Gillies himself was a keen artist, who took lessons in his early career, in the belief that it would help him better record his innovative work. McIndoe too, was a proficient artist in his free time, having been taught by his talented mother, Mabel Hill. McIndoe acknowledged that his experience helping her apply stage make-up to actors during his youth provided him with insight into how to manipulate the human face.

It is perhaps no surprise then, that Plastic surgery possesses a number of individuals possessing genuine artistic flair. Many BAPRAS members are talented artists in their own right, producing works in most media and many subject areas, not only surgery.
